The legendary maple shells from GRETSCH DRUMS have always been world-famous ("The Gretsch Formula").

To make this sound accessible to even more drummers, the Catalina Maple series was designed. It offers the most affordable maple set of the entire Gretsch product line, which scores with the fresh and modern design of the Catalina hardware and other high-quality features:

The seven-ply maple shells have a GRETSCH-typical 30° bearing edge on which stable 2.3 mm steel tension hoops rest. Slim 2-point "low-profile" tom suspensions and REMO® heads mounted as standard give the drums a fantastic and unmistakable sound character. Catalina Maple sets are available in two different configurations and a total of four finishes.
